I’m an aspiring Psychotherapist, currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Pursuing). My belief is that everyone is unique and is able to Self Actualize. Individuals have immense potential, and where there is potential, the possibilities are endless. Where there is a problem, there is a solution and opportunity for growth. All we need is a nudge in the right direction.

My areas of interest and experience includes:

  • Mood regulation, including anger management
  • Family and relationships, including separation & loss, parental stress
  • Family violence & abuse
  • Trauma or difficult childhood issues
  • Work related stress & anxiety

Approaches used:

My practise is Assimilative.

  • Core approach is Person Centred Therapy.
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Psychodynamic Approach
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS).
  • Interest in pursuing Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Believes people have the ability to self heal (Carl Rogers, 1957) and self actualize, and only need clarity and assistance in moving towards psychological progress.

Language Proficiency:

  • English – Fluent
  • Malay – Satisfactory (boleh tahan :p)
  • Hindi – Fluent (एक्सपर्ट तो नहीं हूँ, लेकिन काम चल जाता है) 😀
  • and Punjabi.
