I have worked in the Psychotherapy role for several years and am currently engaged as a Senior Counsellor, providing care to a variety of clients including ex offenders, adults, young people, women, children, adolescents and families.
In my role as a therapist, I am required to provide support and coordination with a range of disciplines to facilitate the support that is required in the effective care of clients.
Having overcome my own battle with addiction. I have a heart for those suffering from mental health and addiction issues.
The complexities of both having been experienced in my past, it is my desire to guide others out of its vicious cycle.
My experiences have facilitated deep insights into being an addiction counsellor with pro-activity, healing and recovery are at the core of my values.
We live in a climate which perpetually highlights stories of disgrace, misery or failure.
I firmly believe that there can be powerful potential in the pursuit to do what it is we love and, from lessons gained from the past, extract tools of love, forgiveness, healing and the ability to turn your life around from its lowest point…
